Well, you have come to the right place! I have a super easy solution for you!
I have accidentally clogged up my sink a number of times. The first time It happened I panicked and then searched Pinterest for the answer to fix my clogged sink. I came across a tutorial that I have since used every time my sink gets clogged and it works like a charm!
How To Unclog A Sink With Items You Have On Hand
You will need:
- 1 cup of white vinegar
- 1 cup of baking soda
- Boiling water
- A drain stop or drain plug
Step 1
Sprinkle the baking soda into the drain. Then pour the vinegar down the sink. Quickly put the drain plug on to the drain and let it sit in place until the fizzing has stopped. After it has stopped let it sit for 30 minutes.
Step 2
After 30 minutes, boil a pot of water. Once the water is boiling, remove the drain plug and pour the boiling water into the drain. The hot water mixed with the vinegar and baking soda will clear out any clogs, freeing up your drain pipe.
Your drain should be back to working like a charm!
